The brand logo (Photo 12) was directly inspired by this historic photo from 1943: the Dalton wheel (Photo 11). The wreck rests just in front of the quay of the lighthouse on the island of Planier off Marseille.
This photo was taken during the film EPAVES, the first film shot in an Air Liquide diving suit, offering the first underwater sequences in the Mediterranean.
Today, the wheel no longer exists, but the stern and the propeller of the boat are beautifully covered with purple gorgonians. But let's go back a bit to the birth of the scuba ...
